Video on the rebuilding project
It shows the passion, courage and precision of the engineers of the Rhaetian Railway, as they tackle the job of rebuilding the Albula Tunnel. Just as their pioneering predecessors did 110 years ago, they have to face the challenges of tunnelling through the Albula massif.
The video, entitled The new Albula Tunnel: a main artery of the Rhaetian Railway, explains why reconstruction is necessary, while revealing the tasks faced by the engineers responsible and showing what is to become of the original tunnel.
